Program: Flu Vaccine Program
Provider: Harrison County Home & Public Health Department
Purpose: To protect the health of Harrison County residents and visitors during flu season.
What's available: Flu Vaccine
Cost: $25 (cash or check). For Medicare Part B enrollees, Medicare will pay for your flu shot. Be sure to bring your card with you.
HCHPH does NOT bill private insurance comp., Medicaid, or Medicare HMOs. Children with Medicaid, no health insurance, insurance that does not cover any of the cost of vaccines, or who are Native American or Alaskan Native may receive a flu shot from the Vaccines for Children (VFC) supply provided by the Iowa Dept. of Public Health at no charge. Donations are accepted to help defray expenses.
