Job Title: Home Health LPN

Programs and Departments: She has been with Harrison County Home & Public Health since 2011 as a home health nurse. She has been an LPN for 17 years. In the beginning of her career, she was focused on the aging population working in long term care as a floor nurse, charge nurse, and a Wound care nurse. After having two children of her own she became more interested in pediatrics and lactation support. In 2022 she became a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist.  She shares her as the county’s Immunization Coordinator. She provides education about vaccine preventable diseases, completes Immunization record audits at childcare centers and schools in the county, and hosts vaccine clinics in office and in the community. She manages the Immunization grant for the county, the Vaccine For Children program, Pandemic Influenza, and Pandemic Covid-19.  We strive to dissolve any barriers there may be to receiving immunizations by offering mobile clinics that come to you!
